How do I install Allocatus to a different IIS website?

We are not using the Default Web Site for Project Server IIS Virtual Root. We realized that Allocatus installs by default to the Default Web Site. How do we move the Allocatus Virtual Directory to another Web Site?

To move the Allocatus Virtual Directory from the Default Web Site to another Web Site follow the steps below:

    1. Go to Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager
    2. Right-click the Allocatus Virtual Directory and select in the context menu All Tasks/Save Configuration to a File
    3. Enter a file name, e.g. Allocatus, verify the path and click OK
    4. Right-click the target Web Site and select New/Virtual Directory (from file)
    5. Select the file that you have created in step 3
    6. Click Read File
    7. Select Allocatus and click OK

You have now created a copy of the Allocatus virtual directory below the new website, so that you can now delete the Allocatus Virtual Directory from the Default Web Site.
